The Story Behind BringChange
It started with bullying on a school campus in India, in 1994.
Sachin Chaudhry’s younger brother, Salil, was 12 years old in 1994. Usually full of life and energy, Salil sat unusually quiet at dinner one evening — eyes down, barely eating. Something had changed. Something had broken.
What none of them knew at the time was that Salil had been enduring months of severe bullying at school. Relentless, invisible, and completely undetected by teachers, friends, and family. By the time anyone understood the depth of what Salil was experiencing, he had suffered an emotional breakdown and was eventually diagnosed with a mental health condition.
The healthcare system offered little. Brief doctor appointments. No guidance between visits. No tools for the people closest to him to understand what was happening. The family was left to navigate a system that didn’t know how to help.
That experience never left Sachin. Through an engineering degree at the National Institute of Technology, an MBA at The Wharton School, and 17 years leading technology organizations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas — the question stayed with him:
What if someone had seen the signs early enough?
In 2015, Sachin walked away from the corporate world to answer that question. He founded TrustCircle — the platform he wished had existed for Salil. And in 2021, he established BringChange Foundation Inc. — a California-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit — to forge the partnerships, scale the mission, and ensure that governments and communities worldwide could deliver emotional well-being infrastructure to every child, everywhere.
“What happened to my brother should never happen to anyone else. That is the heart of BringChange Foundation’s mission.”

Our Approach
We don’t build programs. We transform systems.
Most mental health initiatives solve for the individual in crisis. BringChange Foundation operates at a different level entirely — we work with Ministries of Education, Ministries of Health, international agencies, and philanthropic funders to change the conditions in which children grow up.
Prevention is more powerful than treatment
Catching emotional distress early — before escalation — saves lives, reduces costs, and protects futures.
Scale requires systems
Only national-level policy, embedded in curriculum and supported by sustainable technology, can solve a global crisis.
Technology must serve equity
Our programs work in limited internet access environments, in multiple languages, and across low-resource regions.
Every community is different
We co-design with local partners, governments, and communities to ensure programs are culturally resonant and institutionally durable.
